WhatsApp Introduces a new Call Link Feature
California: Popular instant messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced a new Call Link feature for users.
For the past few months, WhatsApp has been working on several new features to improve the user experience. These features include the ability to create stickers for yourself, join 1024 people in chat groups, create polls in the group, and more.
The upcoming CallLink feature was announced last month by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, which will allow sharing of voice and video call links. 32 people will be able to participate in these calls at a time while the call link will remain active for 90 days.
If users want to create a call link then go to the call tab and see the above call log a new button has been added. After pressing the ‘Create Call Link’ a new page will open with options for voice or video calls. After selecting the option you can copy the invitation link and send it to your WhatsApp contacts.
It should be noted that those who you want to call via these links must be WhatsApp users.
